P.E.T carpet is made with yarn created from reclaimed polyester resins of two-liter soda bottles and ketchup containers.  Commonly called Pop Bottle Carpet, recycled P.E.T (polyethylene terephthalate) polyester carpet is strong and durable.  The quality of polyester resins remain unchanged throughout the recycling process.  Its proven that recycled P.E.T has a higher melting point and higher density than nylon which give the carpet many superior characteristics. P.E.T carpets tend to be heavier, thicker and more luxurious than regular nylon carpets.
